Seatrade Group is commited to owning and
developing drylands, with their rich and
diverse, yet fragile ecosystems and
resources, to be effectively protected
and sustainably managed. Communities
must derive the consequent benefits, but
this is rarely the case.
To address this concern, Seatrade’s
objective is to apply sustainable land
management processing, to integrate land
use planning, and to improve practices
in natural resources, to subsequently
benefit local populations and enhance
their social, cultural, environmental
and economic benefits.
The World
Bank defines
Sustainable Land Management as a process in
a charged environment between environmental
protection and the guarantee claim of
ecosystem services on the one hand. On the
other hand it is about productivity of
agriculture with respect to demographic
growth and increasing pressure in land use.
